The copper part of this necklace is made using over several hour process called electroforming, where copper forms around the natural shape of the stone creating a unique organic feeling piece. The piece was then given a patina which will continue to develop overtime.

Will it turn my skin?

Doing this will clean any body oils or sweat off your jewelry. The cleaner you keep your copper jewelry the less likely your skin will discolor from oxidation.
