Gouache paint is bit of a lesser known art medium to some. I would describe it as a mix of watercolor and acrylic paint that dries to a matte finish. It is similar to watercolor in that it is activated by water - and like acrylic paint it is opaque.
Piece set in an antique gold frame- backing allows for the piece to be hung or placed on a surface.
