I knew when I found this antique frame I needed to created an art piece that would play with its longer narrow opening. Swans are one of my favorites - so I thought why not work with the swans long neck to fill the space.
My art tends to be more focused on realistic details and proportions so this piece drew me out of my comfort zone a bit.
I used alcohol market and colored pencils to create this silly swan. She is colorful and bold with a vibrant blue background - perfect to bring some brightness into your home.
